Nameless II

Well I believe this is the first time I've done something like this... this is what could be called a 'sequel' to a poem. But of course, it is so much more than that! It came out in the form of something like a 'sequel' because in a way it speaks of the same that the poem 'Nameless', one of my personal favourites. Of course, it is 'the same' but in a different way, and inspired by a different person and events, but the 'nameless essence' it sparks is similar to that which brought 'Nameless' to life, and hence this poem coming out as 'Nameless II'.

First of all, this poem is dedicated to a very good friend of mine (again, much like 'Nameless' itself) whose wonderful heart and personality have inspired me beyond what I could imagine. Some people are just too naturally wonderful themselves for people who can manage to glimpse that to ignore... and as one of those people, this words were the least I could do to make justice to what this person is and the impact that she had (and still has, more than ever of course) in my heart. It is the kind of things that's useless to try to put into words (hence 'Nameless') but still I'm happy I produced these in its honour :)

When I wrote 'Nameless' I said:
"That same pure force which is the origin of everything, of every life, to be able to glimpse it unchanged, in its pure form, with your very eyes. Like somehow it never changed at all as the person becomes a 'human being', and you can still glimpse it... unchanged."

And just like in 'Nameless', this is mostly what this poem is about as well. Thanks to that same person I mentioned and what she became, I could glimpse it in a really wonderful way, and it was more inspiring than I could even expect. I already knew how strong that person was, and the potential in her heart, but it's different when you really get the chance to glimpse it all, and even more... see in that person's way of being, talking, attitudes, etc. how true all that actually was and how wonderful the outcome really came out. It's similar to that feeling when you really like a band a lot and you heard their music a couple of times, and then you get to see them live, see what it's all about, and somehow it just got even much more enchanting!

So, before the poem, I just have to make a few 'disclaimers' here to avoid any misinterpretation and/or questions and make everything about it more clear to those who read it:

1) - This is NOT a love poem! Just to make it very clear and avoid misinterpretations, this is about a person that really means a lot to me and inspired me more than half of this world, and that I hold very dear in my heart, but it is not a love poem, which is something I only did when I wrote 'Miracle'. Don't get me wrong, falling in love is one of the most wonderful things in this world, but (fortunately) there are other really wonderful ways and feelings that allow you to glimpse the wonders of someone's heart, to let yourself be enchanted by it, and to feel like expressing what it truly means to you. Something that same person helped me realising on these past few days. Of course, these kind of feelings don't have any less meaning in any way as it should be obvious. So, that's the first thing I'd like to make clear here to avoid any misinterpretation.

2) - "A heart reflecting Her nameless words" -> In this verse "Her" refers to Mother Nature of course. For those who know me well already that's probably easy to figure out, but either way since the poem itself doesn't make it very clear, I left this second note here to help the interpretation of the poem and make it easier to understand.

3) - (And this last one is meant directly for the person this poem is dedicated to) -> Remember, just because I wrote this words in your honour and have a deep respect for you, it doesn't mean that I believe that you can beat me in a fight, which I still don't :P

Ok, and after these small 'disclaimers', here is the poem:

Nameless it drips again
And a miracle is forged
A shower of aquamarine rain
As the heaven within stormed

It never speaks its name
But always shows itself with thunder
Leaving no single heart the same
Tearing armies of ghosts asunder

Another miracle pierces my eyes
And the melody soars on
A voice that could call dragons to rise
Sends ghastly impurities gone

I breathe this life deep and a tear drops
Infinity contained in a flowing shell
As this wheel of melodies never stops
Leaving us dancing ones in its wondrous spell

And it calls me louder, this nameless light
And it howls in me louder, this mysterious might
And it sings in me louder, this melodic sight
And it whispers endlessly, even in the darkest night

Seeing a miracle take form
The greatest of wonders to witness
Nature's call piercing in like a storm
As this nameless truth defeats all darkness

Like a phoenix this time it rose
Holding that light which cannot be surpassed
A light so divine and yet so close
Inspiring as miracles crossed

A heart reflecting Her nameless words
With resplendant light has grown
Its might may one day enchant worlds
For now it has enchanted my own
